Description
The Atlas Platinum PTC400 is an Italian-engineered center-post swing-arm tire changer built for shops servicing modern, low-profile, and run-flat tires. It comes standard with a left-hand bead-pressing and bead-lifting assist arm, so the technician keeps both hands free during the most demanding mount and demount work. The center-post design clears the operator side completely and gives the swing arm the geometry it needs to hold large rims square through the entire rotation.
The PTC400 builds on the popular PTC300 platform with a 26″ external clamping range, 43″ maximum tire diameter, and a high-torque 110V electric turntable. The bead breaker is an anodized aluminum cylinder rated at 6,924 lbs of breaking force, and an external flexible bead-blast system is integrated into the column for one-shot seating on stubborn beads. The metal mount/demount head uses replaceable plastic inserts to protect alloy and powder-coated wheels.
The PTC400 is backed by a 2-year parts-only warranty, with replacement parts and wear items kept in stock. The unit requires some assembly after delivery.
