The Autel MaxiSYS Ultra S2 with IA900 software (SKU S2ADAS900) is Autel’s flagship advanced diagnostic tablet shipped with the activation card that unlocks 4-wheel alignment and ADAS calibration for the IA900 calibration system. The 13.7-inch Android 13 tablet pairs with the MaxiFlash VCMI2 — a 6-in-1 vehicle communication and measurement device — to cover U.S., Asian, and European vehicles from 1996 forward with active tests, special functions, coding, and adaptations.

Static calibrations of cameras, radar, lidar, and night-vision systems still require physical targets and calibrators, which are sold separately and matched to the IA900 calibration frame package the shop is running.

FAQ

How is this different from the standalone MaxiSYS Ultra S2 tablet?

This SKU ships with the Autel IA900 Wheel Alignment & ADAS Calibration software activation card pre-bundled. The standalone Ultra S2 tablet ships without that activation. The hardware in the box is identical to the standard Ultra S2.

Do I need anything else to perform static ADAS calibrations?

Yes. The IA900 software runs on this tablet, but static calibrations of cameras, radar, lidar, and night-vision systems require the physical IA900 calibration frame and the matching targets and calibrators for the vehicles you service. Those are sold separately as package options.

Which security gateways are supported out of the box?

Stellantis, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen/Audi. Other manufacturer gateway access follows Autel’s normal subscription model.

Is the Motor TRUSPEED repair data subscription included?

One year of Motor TRUSPEED OEM-sourced repair data access is included free with the tablet, alongside one year of free Autel software updates.
