Sandia 50-3000 / 50-3001 Super Spotter 3-Gallon Spot Extractor – 55 PSI, 804W
The Super Spotter series covers urgent spot cleaning — localized stains on carpet, upholstery, or auto interiors where a full-size extractor would be unnecessary. Both the 50-3000 and 50-3001 share the same motor, pump, tanks, and dimensions; the only difference is the upholstery tool: the 50-3000 includes a 4″ clear view tool for monitoring solution placement, and the 50-3001 includes a 4″ stainless steel tool for heavier-duty use. Both are made in the USA.
50-3000 / 50-3001 Specifications and Mechanics
- Motor: 2-stage Ametek, 804W — the same Ametek motor platform used in Sandia’s 50-1006 (which uses 15 ft hoses vs this unit’s 7 ft hoses)
- Water lift: 98.8″ — strong for a 3-gallon portable unit; extracts solution from upholstery and carpet efficiently without leaving excessive moisture
- Airflow: 100 CFM
- Pump: 55 PSI — lower than the 100 PSI pump in the heated 50-4100; adequate for spot cleaning without over-saturating delicate fabrics
- Tanks: 3-gallon solution and 3-gallon recovery — balanced capacity for spot jobs without added bulk
- Hoses: 7 ft vacuum hose + 7 ft solution hose — the 50-1006 extends this to 15 ft for greater reach
- Power cord: 20 ft, NEMA 5-15P plug, 115V/60Hz
- Dimensions: 21″×10″×19″; weight: 19 lbs (50-3000) / 15 lbs (50-3001 with lighter stainless tool)
- Body: roto-molded polyethylene, slide-out handle, double ball-bearing urethane wheels
- Upholstery tool: 50-3000 — 4″ clear view (see solution contact point); 50-3001 — 4″ stainless steel (more durable for rough surfaces)
Where the Super Spotter Is Used
The 7 ft hoses suit environments where the machine can be positioned within arm’s reach of the stain: hotel room spot calls, restaurant booth seating, vehicle interiors, and patient room upholstery in healthcare facilities. The slide-out handle and urethane wheels make it easy to carry to an elevator and position next to a chair or sofa without disrupting the surrounding area. The 20 ft power cord is shorter than Sandia’s full-size extractor cords — plan to work near an outlet or use a heavy-duty extension cord rated for the motor’s draw. For jobs requiring more reach, the 50-1006 extends hoses to 15 ft.
Choosing Between the 50-3000 and 50-3001
Both models produce identical cleaning results. Select the 50-3000 (clear view tool) when you want to watch where the solution is making contact — useful for delicate upholstery fabrics where overspray is a concern. Select the 50-3001 (stainless steel tool) when durability and surface contact matter more than visibility — automotive upholstery, restaurant booth vinyl, and similar surfaces where the tool will experience repeated pressure.
