Description

Sandia 10-0804-COM — Complete 6″ Hatch Cover with T-Handle for Sniper Carpet Extractors

The Sandia 10-0804-COM is the complete factory replacement 6″ hatch cover assembly with T-handle for Sandia Sniper carpet extractors. The hatch cover provides access to the recovery tank for cleaning and inspection, and the T-handle provides a secure, tool-free grip for opening and closing under the suction conditions present during and after extraction. This is the complete assembly — when the hatch body itself is cracked or the T-handle breaks rather than just the gasket, this part replaces the entire cover in one step.

10-0804-COM Assembly Contents and Hatch Function

The recovery tank hatch on Sniper extractors is opened frequently — for end-of-tank-cycle emptying, for post-job rinsing, and for filter inspection. The T-handle design is what makes this possible without tools. A cracked cover or broken T-handle requires the complete 10-0804-COM replacement; if only the gasket is worn, the 10-0804-A gasket alone is sufficient.

  • 6″ hatch cover body — replacement for the Sniper recovery tank access hatch; 6″ diameter matches the factory tank opening
  • T-handle included — provides grip for tool-free hatch opening and closing; broken or missing handles require this complete assembly
  • Gasket included — complete assembly includes the sealing gasket; restores leak-free hatch seal in one replacement step
  • OEM Sandia part — factory dimensions for correct fit on Sniper recovery tanks; aftermarket covers often have dimensional variances that prevent proper sealing

10-0804-COM Applications and Environments

Commercial carpet cleaning contractors with Sniper extractors that develop cracked hatch covers from drops or mechanical impact need the complete 10-0804-COM rather than the gasket alone. Hotel and facility maintenance teams running Sniper machines in daily cleaning programs will encounter hatch handle breakage from repeated heavy use cycles — the T-handle is the most mechanically stressed component on the cover. Replacing the complete assembly is faster than attempting to repair a broken cover body.

10-0804-COM Compatibility and What Ships

Ships as the complete 6″ hatch cover assembly with T-handle and gasket. Compatible with Sandia Sniper carpet extractors. If only the gasket needs replacement, order the 10-0804-A gasket alone.
