1,000 CFM HEPA Negative Air Machine with UVC Germicidal Disinfection

The KwiKool KBP1000 BioAir Plus scales up the KBP600 platform to 1,000 CFM, covering spaces up to 1,000 sq. ft. at the CDC-recommended 6 air changes per hour at 9-foot ceilings. It combines a 4-inch ULPA/HEPA filter with dual UVC lamps in a 115V/15A footprint suitable for most remediation, healthcare, and commercial air quality applications. ETL and CETL listed. Made in the USA.

KBP1000 Airflow, Filtration, and UVC Performance

The centrifugal direct-drive fan delivers 1,000, 875, or 750 CFM at zero static pressure across three selectable speeds, with four selectable discharge directions for placement flexibility in any containment or clean-room configuration. The 4-inch ULPA/HEPA filter captures 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns and larger (standard HEPA-grade at this size class). Two UVC lamps provide continuous germicidal irradiation of the filter face, airstream, and internal chamber surfaces. An optional 10-inch stainless steel top discharge flange (upgradeable to 12-inch) supports ducted HEPA exhaust connections; the CK-12S-SS ceiling kit provides overhead mounting for floor-free operation in active work areas.

KBP1000 Electrical and Physical Specifications

Like the KBP600, the KBP1000 operates on a standard 115V/15A circuit with NEMA 5-15 plug. At 0.61 kW and 5.94A running current, it shares the same breaker requirement despite the higher airflow output. The unit measures approximately 17″ × 22″ × 38″ and weighs 90 lbs — 5 lbs more than the 600 CFM model — with the same heavy-duty caster base for field mobility.
