The NaceCare DH 420 (part number K-8025051) is a 14-inch cylindrical Hydrowasher that includes the Hybrid Box (H-Box), which connects the machine to a standard 110V outlet for unlimited runtime. The H-Box also enables an optional steam cleaning mode for chemical-free sanitizing. With 800,000 bristles in counter-rotating brushes at 650 RPM, 57 lbs of brush pressure, and 64 dB(A) operation, the DH 420 cleans hard floors, carpets, and escalators with the same machine across virtually any commercial facility.

• Hybrid Box (H-Box) — unlimited 110V runtime: connects the DH 420 to a standard 110V outlet, eliminating battery runtime limits and enabling continuous operation across full cleaning shifts without interruption.
• Optional steam cleaning through H-Box: the H-Box adds a steam option that delivers chemical-free high-temperature sanitizing, extending the DH 420’s capability beyond standard wet cleaning into steam sanitization applications.
• 800,000 bristles / 650 RPM counter-rotating cylindrical brushes: high bristle density reaches grout lines, surface texture, rubber tiles, and carpet fibers that flat disc pads cannot agitate; counter-rotation creates converging lift action for effective soil removal.
• All-surface capability — hard floors, carpets, escalators: one machine with appropriate brush selection handles grouted tile, rubber, hardwood, carpet, and escalator tread cleaning.

Where the DH 420 with H-Box Differs from the Battery DHB 420

The DH 420 (K-8025051) is the corded-with-H-Box version; the DHB 420 (K-8025052) is the battery-first version with H-Box as backup. For facilities with consistent outlet access, the DH 420 provides unlimited runtime without battery constraints. For facilities with restricted cord access — large open floor areas, areas without nearby outlets — the DHB 420’s 50-minute battery runtime provides cord-free operation with the H-Box as a fallback when outlets are available. The steam option is identical between both models when used with the H-Box connected.

DH 420 Trigger Control and Multi-Surface Brush Options

Solution dispensing is controlled by a trigger on the handle — press to apply solution, release to stop. This allows targeted solution delivery on textured tile without over-wetting adjacent carpet areas. Brush options follow the same system as the DP 420: yellow for carpet, grey for general hard floors, black for aggressive scrubbing. The wet sweep capability means pre-sweeping is not required — the DH 420 picks up coarse debris and fine dust simultaneously with the cylindrical brush and recovery system.
