The XPOWER X-4700A is a 750 CFM, 3-stage HEPA air scrubber drawing 4.5A at 115V. External rotor induction motor (520W, 2/3 HP) with variable speed from 700–2,850 RPM. 3-stage filtration: NFS16 washable nylon mesh pre-filter, PF16 pleated media filter, and HEPA50 2″ HEPA filter at 99.97% efficiency. ETL/CETL certified, dual built-in GFCI outlets for daisy-chaining, filter change indicator light, ABS housing stackable to 5 units, 33 lbs with grab-n-go handle. Identical to the X-4700AM in all respects except the X-4700AM adds an integrated hour meter.

Restoration contractors who track air scrubber runtime through external logs, project management software, or separate timers specify the X-4700A to save on unit cost versus the hour-meter-equipped X-4700AM. Construction and renovation teams using air scrubbers for dust management rather than insurance-billed remediation do not need the hour meter and benefit from the X-4700A’s lower acquisition price per unit. The dual GFCI outlets allow three units to share a cord run, the 5-unit stack allows maximum fleet transport density, and the 33-lb grab-n-go handle supports single-operator deployment across multi-floor projects.

3-Stage Filtration and Carbon Compatibility

The X-4700A’s 3-stage filtration covers the particle spectrum from large debris (washable pre-filter) through medium particles (pleated media) to 0.3-micron HEPA filtration. It does not include a carbon stage as standard, which means odors and VOCs pass through without being adsorbed. An optional activated carbon filter is compatible with this unit for jobs requiring simultaneous odor remediation — fire damage and Category 3 water events are the primary use cases. For jobs where the carbon stage must be permanent rather than optional, the AP-1800D or AP-1500D are the specifications, as they include carbon as part of their 4-stage standard configuration.
