1,800 CFM HEPA Air Scrubber for Large-Area Negative Air and Remediation
The KwiKool KBP1800 BioAir Plus is the high-output model in the BioAir Plus line, delivering 1,800 CFM of HEPA-filtered and UVC-irradiated airflow — enough to achieve 6 air changes per hour in spaces up to 2,000 sq. ft. at 9-foot ceilings, per CDC guidance. It runs on a standard 15A circuit and includes the same quad-directional discharge and 4-inch HEPA filter design as the smaller models. ETL and CETL listed. Made in the USA.
KBP1800 High-Capacity Airflow and Filtration
The centrifugal direct-drive fan produces 1,800, 1,675, or 1,550 CFM at zero static pressure with all discharge openings active, or 1,600, 1,375, or 1,250 CFM with one opening closed — providing genuine operational flexibility for ducted exhaust or confined entry points. All four discharge directions are selectable without repositioning the unit. A 4-inch ULPA/HEPA filter captures 99.999% of particles 0.12 microns and larger; two UVC lamps (30W each, up to 85W max) provide continuous germicidal irradiation of the filter face and airstream. The standard 12-inch stainless steel top discharge flange accepts standard HEPA duct connections; the optional CK-12S-SS ceiling kit enables overhead ceiling mounting to free floor space in active remediation work areas.
KBP1800 Electrical and Size Specifications
Despite its larger output, the KBP1800 runs on a 115V/15A circuit — the same as the smaller BioAir models — drawing 7.2A running current at 0.75 kW. The unit is physically larger at 23″ × 26″ × 46″ and heavier at 135 lbs, reflecting the larger blower and filter assembly. Shipping weight is 170 lbs; add 12 lbs for the optional CK-12S-SS ceiling kit. Compatible replacement filters: 18-FILTERBIO (4″ HEPA) and 18-FILTERPRE (pre-filter) — different SKUs from the smaller models due to the larger filter frame size.
