Description

HEPA Air Scrubber with Bi-Polar Ionization for Enhanced Pathogen Control

The KwiKool KBX600 BioAir Max adds a needle-point bi-polar ionizer to the KBP600 platform, creating a three-stage treatment system: HEPA filtration, UVC germicidal irradiation, and active ion generation. The ionizer discharges a balanced stream of positive and negative ions into the treated airstream, which cluster residual fine particles, neutralize odors, and inactivate pathogens that survive the filter and UVC stages. ETL and CETL listed. Made in the USA.

KBX600 Three-Stage Air Treatment Performance

Stage one: a 4-inch HEPA filter captures 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns and larger — hospital-grade standard filtration. Stage two: dual UVC lamps (30W each, up to 85W max) irradiate the filter face, airstream, and internal surfaces continuously. Stage three: the needle-point bi-polar ionizer generates positive and negative ions that travel with the discharge air into the treated space, addressing particles and pathogens beyond the direct airflow path. The centrifugal direct-drive fan delivers 680, 660, or 620 CFM at zero static pressure across three speeds with four selectable discharge directions. Coverage at CDC 6-ACH standard (9-foot ceilings): 700 sq. ft. An 8-inch stainless top discharge flange (optional 12-inch) and CK-12S-SS ceiling kit are available accessories.

KBX600 Electrical Specifications and Dimensions

The KBX600 draws 5.24A at 0.32 kW on a 115V/15A NEMA 5-15 circuit — slightly above the KBP600 due to the ionizer draw. Unit dimensions are 16.5″ × 22.25″ × 38″ and unit weight is 85 lbs. Replacement filters: 14-FILTERBIO (4″ HEPA) and 14-FILTERPRE (pre-filter), shared with the KBP600 and KBP1000. Replacement UVC bulb: KK-UVB1.
