The 5th Generation MRCOOL® DIY® 9k BTU 23.6 SEER Single Zone Ductless Heat Pump Condenser offers an easy, do-it-yourself solution for heating and cooling spaces up to 350 sq. ft.—no professional tools or HVAC experience required. This system comes equipped with a pre-charged 25-foot QuickConnect® line set, filled with R-454B refrigerant, eliminating the need for vacuuming and significantly reducing setup time and installation costs.
The included DIYPRO® cable replaces standard electrical conduit, offering added protection from weather, animals, and yard-related wear and tear. Control is simple with multiple options: use the included remote, the SmartHVAC app (compatible with both iOS and Android), or voice commands via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
The unit’s Gold Fin® Condenser coating provides excellent resistance to corrosion, making it especially suitable for coastal areas and regions with extreme weather. Multiple operating modes enhance both comfort and energy efficiency, including a Timer for scheduled operation and Auto mode to maintain consistent temperatures automatically.
In the event of a power outage, the auto-restart feature restores your last settings once power returns. An anti-mildew function helps reduce moisture inside the air handler, minimizing the risk of mold buildup.
