The Atlas® FM9SL 9,000 lb. flush-mounted scissor lift is an ideal solution for service facilities seeking to maximize lift capacity within limited floor space. For shops that prefer a clean-floor appearance without above-ground columns or obstructions, the Atlas® FM9SL provides an efficient alternative. Unlike traditional in-ground lifts, this flush-mounted system requires minimal excavation, and the electric/hydraulic power unit remains easily accessible for routine maintenance.
The flush-mounted platforms eliminate above-ground obstructions and can be driven over from any direction, allowing vehicles to be positioned even in confined work areas. The Atlas® FM9SL features both front and rear platform extensions, enabling it to accommodate long-wheelbase pickup trucks.
Because this scissor lift design is fully open (without front or rear cross-support bars to maintain platform alignment), operators must ensure that the vehicle frame is positioned at least 6 inches from the inside edge of each platform. Concentrating excessive weight closer than 6 inches to the inner platform edges may cause the platforms to angle inward (“pigeon toe”), potentially resulting in damage. An optional Atlas® scissor lift support bar kit is available to help distribute narrow-frame weight evenly across the lifting surface.
