Description

The Atlas® Support Bar System is engineered for use with scissor lift platforms when lifting heavier vehicles such as pickup trucks and SUVs with narrow frame configurations.

Many larger vehicles feature narrow frame rails. When these vehicles are lifted on Atlas® solid platform scissor lifts or on the Atlas® wheels-free system (used with Atlas® 12K alignment scissor lifts), the concentrated load from the narrow frame applies downward force along the inner edges of the lift platforms. In contrast, unibody vehicles typically distribute weight more centrally across the platforms.

The Atlas® Support Bar System is designed to redistribute the load of narrow-frame vehicles toward the center of the platform, improving stability and weight distribution. When used with the included truck adapters, the system also elevates the vehicle above the platform surface, allowing improved access to undercar components.

The lift pads are adjustable, and the support bar features a solid rubber contact surface to prevent shifting on smooth metal scissor lift platforms.

When used as a pair, the Atlas® Support Bar System provides a support capacity of up to 8,000 lbs.
