Description

Autel IA1000 ADAS calibration frame with MaxiSYS Ultra S2 tablet and three digital LDW target monitors
IA1000TDT package: calibration frame, three digital LDW target monitors, and MaxiSYS Ultra S2 tablet.

The Autel IA1000TDT is the Digital Target package configuration of Autel’s next-generation IA1000 system, combining automated ADAS calibration, four-wheel alignment, and advanced diagnostics in a single robotic frame. The package ships with the IA1000 calibration frame and accessories, the MaxiSYS Ultra S2 diagnostic tablet, the IA1000 activation card, three digital LDW target monitors, and the digital target activation card — everything needed to perform alignment-first ADAS calibration without juggling separate platforms.

Six high-definition optical cameras (3072 × 2048 pixels each) and precision-engineered wheel clamp targets deliver 0.02° alignment accuracy. Five-way robotic target placement — front-to-back, vertical, horizontal, plus crossbar pitch, roll, and yaw — eliminates the manual crossbar adjustment that consumes most of the calibration setup time on conventional frames. Laser-guided floor pattern positioning for AVM, ACC, NVS, and BSD targets keeps physical target placement repeatable from job to job, and unlevel floor compensation lets the system calibrate on level floors, sloped shop floors, and on-rack setups without rejecting the calibration.

The included MaxiSYS Ultra S2 tablet powers the diagnostic side of the workflow with Topology 3.0 system analysis, active module pinging, and OEM-sourced calibration procedures for U.S., Asian, and European vehicles back to 1996. Pre-scan reports identify existing faults and inventory the vehicle’s safety systems before calibration; Post-scan reports document validated target positions and OEM-required calibrations for insurance and sublet sign-off.

The IA1000TDT ships freight. Crating, lead time, and delivery scheduling vary by destination — email sales@mygaragesupplies.com or call 307-381-1810 for a quote and to confirm install requirements before ordering.

Features

Automated Forward-Facing ADAS Calibration

Five-way robotic target positioning handles front-to-back, vertical, and horizontal crossbar placement plus pitch, roll, and yaw — the angle adjustments that drive first-time calibration success. Position the frame anywhere inside the Distance and Offset green zone on the tablet, press Next, and the IA1000 automates the rest of the setup.

Optical Camera and Laser-Guided Precision

Six HD positioning and tracking cameras map the vehicle and the frame’s relative position; laser-guided floor pattern projection then places AVM, ACC, NVS, and BSD targets to spec. The dual-system approach — optical for vehicle/frame, laser for ground-pattern — covers both the calibration geometry and the physical target layout in one workflow.

Digital LDW Target Display Monitors

Three Autel digital LDW target monitors replace the physical-target storage and selection step.

The IA1000TDT package includes three Autel digital LDW target monitors that auto-project the correct calibration target for the vehicle on the lift, eliminating the manual physical-target swap. The monitor surface uses self-adjusting brightness for repeatable target contrast under varied shop lighting. Seamless OTA updates keep the on-board target library current as Autel adds OEM coverage. The Autel digital target kit covers LDW patterns for Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Nissan, Infiniti, Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Maserati, Hyundai, Kia, and Subaru. Physical LDW targets for the remaining static-calibration vehicle list ship separately and can be added later.

Advanced Wheel Alignment and Measurement Data

The IA1000 goes past basic camber, caster, and toe with thrust angle, SAI, toe-out-on-turns, and diagnostic readouts for frame alignment, engine cradle alignment, bent parts, and loose parts. Eleven of the twenty-eight major North American auto manufacturers require ADAS calibration after a wheel alignment — the IA1000 keeps both procedures in one system and one report.

Unlevel Floor Compensation

Calibration setup includes a floor-type selector for level floor, unlevel floor, or on-rack — so a sloped drain-side bay or a calibration done on a four-post lift does not throw the alignment math. Eliminating that variable removes one of the most common causes of failed first-attempt calibrations.

MaxiSYS Ultra S2 Diagnostics

The included MaxiSYS Ultra S2 tablet with MaxiFlash VCMI2 and IA1000/E-Target activation cards.

The included MaxiSYS Ultra S2 is Autel’s flagship Android-based diagnostic tablet — 13.7-inch touchscreen, 512 GB storage, paired with the MaxiFlash VCMI2 6-in-1 communication and measurement device. Coverage spans U.S., Asian, and European vehicles from 1996 forward, with active tests, special functions, coding, and adaptations. Topology 3.0 maps multi-speed network architectures, and active module analysis pings ECUs directly to test signal quality and network integrity before calibration starts.

Pre and Post-Scan Reporting

Every job produces a Pre-scan inventory of existing faults and equipped safety systems, then a Post-scan record of validated target positions, completed OEM-required calibrations, and remaining faults. The reports document the work for vehicle owners, sublet partners, and insurance carriers without manual paperwork.

FAQ

Does the IA1000TDT include physical LDW targets?

No. The TDT package ships with three digital LDW target monitors that display calibration patterns directly. Physical LDW targets cover additional vehicles not in the digital target library and are sold separately. Shops that need both digital and physical coverage typically order the IA1000LDWTDT variant or add physical targets later.

Which vehicles can the digital LDW target kit calibrate?

The Autel digital target library covers LDW patterns for Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Nissan, Infiniti, Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Maserati, Hyundai, Kia, and Subaru. OTA updates extend the library as Autel adds OEM coverage.

Does the IA1000 perform wheel alignment, ADAS calibration, or both?

Both, in a single workflow. Four-wheel alignment data extends past camber, caster, and toe to include thrust angle, SAI, toe-out-on-turns, and diagnostic readouts for frame, engine cradle, and bent or loose parts. ADAS calibration runs from the same frame using the optical and laser-guided positioning systems. The MaxiSYS Ultra S2 tablet also handles general advanced diagnostics for the same vehicle list.

Can the IA1000 calibrate on uneven shop floors or on a rack?

Yes. The setup workflow includes a floor-type selector for level floor, unlevel floor, or on-rack. The system compensates calibration math for the selected surface so a sloped drain bay or an on-lift calibration does not invalidate the result.

What software coverage ships with the included MaxiSYS Ultra S2?

The tablet includes IA1000 alignment software and both static and dynamic ADAS calibration coverage for U.S., Asian, and European vehicles from 1996 forward. The diagnostic side adds active tests, special functions, coding and adaptations, plus Topology 3.0 multi-network analysis and active module ECU pinging.
