So, if you are purchasing a Challenger four post lift, wether it’s an alignment rack or just a standard drive on lift, you may also be getting a rolling air bridge jack (or two) so you can gain access to the wheels for brake and tire repairs. If you get only one rolling jack, you won’t need this kit. If you get two rolling jacks, you still don’t need it, but you may want it. You see, these rolling jacks operate off of shop air, and many folks will just run their air lines directly to the rolling jacks, and that’s fine. But some garage mechanics complain that they end up tripping over the air lines and that they get in the way when there are two rolling jacks. That’s where the air line kit comes in to play. It integrates the air lines into the structure of the lift, so that those air lines aren’t cluttering up that space between the runways that your technician is occupying. There is a quick connect fitting that would be right on the same column that the power unit is on, and then the lines would run through the lift structure, and then a separate coiled air line would run out from underneath one of the runways to each of the rolling jacks. Includes all necessary fittings, hoses and fasteners. Your technician will thank you for it.
