The Force 14 runs separate motors for suction and brush — a 12-amp/1,000-watt main motor delivering 74.8 inches of vacuum lift, and a 1.3-amp secondary motor driving the brush roll at 4,000 RPM. The brush motor auto-disengages when the handle is upright or when using wand tools, protecting carpet fibers during above-floor work. A telescopic wand and stretch hose extend reach to 9 feet, and the 4.75-quart micro-filtration bag captures fine dust. HEPA filtration is available as an upgrade option on the standard micro-bag system.

Where the 4000 RPM Brush Motor Makes a Difference

Commercial carpet in high-traffic hotel corridors, office buildings, and casinos compacts over time as foot traffic pushes soil below the fiber surface. Brush agitation at 4,000 RPM loosens this embedded soil and brings it into the airstream before suction removes it. Single-motor uprights share power between suction and brush — at 4,000 RPM brush demand, suction often drops. The Force 14’s separate 1.3-amp brush motor maintains full RPM regardless of what the suction motor is doing. The electronic brush/belt sensor adds another layer: operators are alerted to belt wear or brush obstruction before it affects cleaning performance, preventing missed soil rather than discovering it at the end of a shift.

Force 14 Filtration and OSHA Compliance

The Force 14 ships with a 4.75-quart micro-filtration bag. A HEPA filtration upgrade is available for facilities requiring HEPA-certified exhaust — healthcare environments under infection control protocols, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 applications, or buildings under EPA RRP lead dust removal protocols. The base unit is OSHA-compliant and UL-approved for commercial use. The modular design allows the HEPA option to be specified at purchase for facilities that know they need it, or sourced as an upgrade for facilities that add HEPA requirements after initial purchase.
