Description

The Atlas 12,000 lb. Capacity Scissor Lift (12AWFSL) was developed through a joint venture between Atlas’ Asian manufacturing partner and a renowned Italian lift manufacturer. By combining Italian engineering and design expertise with efficient Asian production, this alignment lift delivers performance comparable to premium brands at a significantly lower price point.

The Atlas 12AWFSL shares the core design of the Atlas 12ASL but adds an integrated Wheels Free lifting system. When a vehicle is positioned on the lift, the built-in Wheels Free jacks raise the vehicle by the frame, lifting the wheels off the runways for improved service access and alignment capability. These jacks are operated directly from the lift’s control console.

With a lifting height exceeding seven feet, the 12AWFSL can be surface mounted or recessed for flush-mount installation. A full-frame structure beneath the scissor assembly provides enhanced stability during operation.

The lift includes a separate, self-contained control panel housing the 220-volt (single-phase) electric/hydraulic power unit. Push-button controls manage raising and lowering functions. The air-actuated lock system automatically engages and disengages during lift movement. A safety lowering limit switch stops descent at approximately 10 inches above the floor; the Down button must be released and pressed again to complete lowering. An emergency manual pump is included for controlled lowering in case of power interruption.

Welded rails along the inside of the runways allow optional use of a rolling jack such as the Atlas RJ-6 (sold separately).

With durable powder coat finishing, precise platform leveling, straightforward installation, and space-efficient design, the Atlas 12AWFSL is well suited for shops servicing vehicles ranging from compact imports to one-ton dually trucks.
