Description
The Atlas® Platinum PTC500 center-post tire changer is engineered for high-volume tire shops that regularly service the most demanding wheel and tire combinations on the market.
The Atlas® Platinum PTC500 incorporates patented, innovative features that distinguish it from conventional machines. The first is the “Lever/No-Lever System,” allowing the operator to perform tire changes either with a traditional tire lever or in a fully leverless configuration that eliminates the need for manual tools. The second key feature is the “Smart Lock” center-post system, which secures the wheel instantly with a simple lever action—removing the need to manually thread a center cone or manage complex pneumatic locking mechanisms.
An external bead seating system simplifies inflation of even the most difficult tire assemblies, and the integrated wheel lift reduces operator strain while helping prevent damage to expensive wheels.
