The Challenger Lifts EW1020 10,000 lbs. electric hydraulic inground lift provides an extra-wide drive-through clearance for servicing standard, electric, wide-bodied, and exotics with no bolster to drive over. Its design allows for battery-lowering out of electric vehicles and comes standard with True 3-Stage front and rear arms and double-telescoping screw pads. Bench-mounted controls are optional. The EW1020 is ALI and ETL Certified.

The EW1020 can handle some of the widest cars currently on the market, such as the RAM TRX, Hummer EV, Tesla Model X & Ford Mach-E.

Optional bench mounted power controls include raise, lower and lock release functions. They mount to many major workbench brands, providing convenient access to inground lift controls. Controls are also available in a lever option for no additional charge.

New Power Unit Service Bulletin Effective 4/21/25

As of 4/21/25, Challenger Lifts will be switching to the Bucher AB-9367-DLH and AB-9858-DLH power units from the current SPX AB-9367 and AB-9858 models. These new Bucher power units will only require a 20 amp breaker. Electrical consumption is becoming more important as customers look to save on electrical installation costs (less breakers) and conserve energy.

New CYL+ Descent Time Service Bulletin Effective 2/18/26

As of 2/18/26, Challenger Lifts will be updating the cylinders that we currently are using to improve the descent times of our CL10 and CL12 Series 2-Post lifts and also the EW and EV 10K and 12K Series lifts.

We have improved the lowering speed by adding a pressure compensating flow control valve to each hydraulic cylinder. These flow control valves maintain the lowering speed to a constant 20 (approximately) seconds regardless of the weight of the vehicle.

Descent time of all models will improve, increasing productivity!

This change will not affect the QuickCycle™ model. You will still need to order QuickCycle™ if you want the faster rise and descent.

All new products will be marked with the label CYL+ on the outside of the packaging. This will call out that it has the new style cylinders with the faster descent.

Power Units Service Bulletin Effective 3/31/26

Due to ongoing supply chain challenges affecting our current power unit manufacturer, starting March 29th, 2026 we will be utilizing power units from both of our approved manufacturers for the foreseeable future. This adjustment will allow us to continue shipping product without interruption and maintain the level of service you expect from us. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work through these temporary constraints.

Both current manufacturers meet all ALI certification requirements and fully align with our performance and quality standards. As a result:

• Either manufacturer’s power unit may be included with any two post or inground lift that ships.
• The power units will carry the warranty that the lift carry, regardless of manufacturer.

As we move past the current supply chain issues, our long term plan is to return to using the Hydraulic Solutions power unit on our domestically produced models and the Bucher power units on our imported models. We believe this approach provides the most stability moving forward given the ongoing turbulence in the supply chain.

Please also note that once we transition back to our standard configuration, you will need to mark your orders with the amperage 20amp or 30amp) you prefer for your 10K two post and inground lift orders. If you do not mark your orders, you will automatically receive the 30amp Hydraulic Solutions power unit.
