Description

Geoground Gold Legend Long Range Detector

5 Search Systems

The Gold Legend metal detector is equipped with five advanced and fully integrated search systems, giving users a clear and efficient way to locate buried targets underground, determine their exact position, and estimate the depth at which they are found.

Equipped with specialized modes for gold, treasures, voids, silver, and gemstones, this advanced multi-system detector offers exceptional accuracy, reaching depths of up to 40 meters with a powerful 3,000-square-meter forward scanning range.

The device includes the following five search systems:

1 – Long Range System
2 – Free Mode System
3 – Smart Depth System
4 – Ionic System
5 – Bionic System

Each search system can be easily selected from the main menu. Below is a detailed explanation of how each system works and the available settings.

1 – Long Range System

Overview

The Long Range search system is developed using unique, modern technology designed to detect deep metal objects and buried treasures from extended distances. It allows users to customize search parameters such as soil type, target type, distance, and depth to achieve more accurate and reliable results.

Operating Principle

The Long Range system operates by generating radio frequencies and transmitting them through two antennas mounted at the front of the main unit. When these frequencies interact with a potential target, the device automatically rotates toward the target around the handle, indicating its direction.

Required Settings Before Search

Before starting the scan, the user must define the following options:

Soil

Specifies the type of ground where the search is conducted. Available soil types include:

  • High Mineral
  • Low Mineral
  • Normal
  • Rocky
  • Sand
  • Stony
  • Wet

Target

Defines the specific target type the user wishes to search for. Selecting the correct target type is essential, as it focuses the scan and improves detection accuracy.

Gold Legend includes 11 preset target types:

  • Bronze
  • Cavity
  • Copper
  • Diamond
  • Gemstone
  • Gold Ore
  • Gold Treasure
  • Gold Veins
  • Iron
  • Platinum
  • Silver

Distance

Indicates the scanning distance or the radius of the long-range search area. The distance can be adjusted within a range of:

  • 0 to 3000 meters

Depth

Determines the depth range in which the device searches for targets. The user can set a specific value within the range:

  • 0 to 40 meters

Search Screen Indicators

After configuring the settings, the search screen appears with the following visual indicators:

  • Balance Indicator: Displays the device’s balance relative to the horizon. For optimal performance, the indicator should align with the green mark.
  • Search Screen: Shows the frequency scanning process using a green circular animation that changes in diameter.
  • Selected Target: Displays the chosen target type currently being searched.

2 – Free Mode System

Overview

The Free Mode system operates on the same principle as the Long Range system by generating and transmitting radio frequencies through the antennas. However, this mode allows the user to manually set an exact frequency value, providing greater precision for detecting specific metals.

Required Settings Before Search

Before beginning the scan, the user must define:

Frequency

Represents the exact frequency transmitted by the device through the antennas. The user can precisely adjust this value within the available frequency range to match a specific metal type.

Soil – Distance – Depth

These parameters are configured in the same manner as in the Long Range system.

Search Screen Indicators

Once settings are applied, the screen displays:

  • Balance Indicator: Shows device alignment relative to the horizon and should be centered on the green mark.
  • Search Screen: Displays the frequency scanning animation using a green circular indicator.
  • Frequency Value: Shows the selected frequency currently in use.

3 – Smart Depth System

Overview

The Smart Depth system is a specialized feature designed to calculate an approximate depth of buried targets with high accuracy.

Operating Method

This system works by moving the device from the detected target location in two different directions. Each time, the user waits until the antennas rotate more than 70 degrees. Based on these movements, the device calculates and displays an estimated depth of the target.

Important Note

The target position is determined using the quadrature method. This involves:

  • Performing long-range scans from four different directions
  • Drawing imaginary lines from each direction
  • Forming a small square where the target is located at the center

4 – Ionic System

Overview

The Ionic system is based on entirely new technology and represents a major advancement over traditional metal detection methods. It focuses on detecting ionic fields emitted by buried metal targets with higher accuracy.

Operating Principle

This system identifies ion fields generated by underground metal objects and processes them precisely. Users can adjust signal-related settings directly from the screen to ensure optimal detection accuracy.

Smart Sensor Technology

The Ionic search is conducted using the Smart Sensor, a specially developed probe installed into a dedicated port on the front of the main unit. The sensor features LED lights that change color based on the type of detected target.

Search Screen Display

When the Ionic system is active, the screen displays two progress bars:

  • Top Progress Bar: Indicates signal strength from metal targets such as gold or iron.
  • Bottom Progress Bar: Represents signal strength from underground voids like tunnels, graves, or basements.

Both values are shown as percentages and are influenced by target size, distance, and surrounding environmental conditions.

5 – Bionic System

Overview

The Bionic system operates similarly to the Ionic system but with a key difference: the search is directed rather than random.

Operating Principle

In this system, ionic signals are first captured from a specific sample metal object, such as a gold coin or silver coin. The device then searches for underground targets emitting similar ionic signals within the surrounding area.

Unlike the Ionic system, which performs a free and random scan, the Bionic system conducts a targeted search based on predefined ionic signatures.

Target Selection Process

The user determines the metal type by pointing the Smart Sensor toward a sample of the desired metal, such as:

  • Gold nugget
  • Silver coin

Search Screen Display

When using the Bionic system:

  • A green circular indicator appears during scanning
  • When a matching target signal is detected, the indicator turns red
  • An audio alert is emitted through the device’s built-in speaker

Easy-to-Use Software Program

The Gold Legend software features a modern and visually appealing graphical user interface. It uses a single-menu structure with clearly organized tabs, icons, and settings for each search system, allowing users to navigate options smoothly and intuitively.
