EMS Sonar
The EMS Sonar (Eccentricity Measurement Systems) has revolutionized wheel balancing since 1988, when CEMB first introduced it on their balancing machines. Thanks to the precision of the sonar sensors used, EMS Sonar is capable of detecting even the slightest irregularities or eccentricities in wheel rotation. The sensor is connected to the balancing machine and positioned near the wheel, detecting any irregularities or eccentricities in its rotation. The device utilizes precise sonar sensors to measure the distance between the wheel’s center and outer edges during rotation. These measurements determine the wheel’s eccentricity, which is the deviation of its geometric center from the true rotational axis. By analyzing the data collected by the device, the machine provides accurate information about the extent of the wheel’s eccentricity. This information is essential for identifying and correcting any irregularities in the wheel, ensuring a smooth and safe ride.

HubMatch
Balancing process often does not solve all wheel vibration problems. Wheels must be balanced and also be “round when rolling on the vehicle”, i.e. need not to have a high eccentricity, in order to be sure that the vehicle moves without annoying vibrations. The new CEMB HubMatch combines refined off-car balancing capabilities and features with a guided on-car eccentricity cancellation process. HubMatch guides the operator during the process, significantly reduces floor-floor cycle time and provides an improved ride quality. In one single spin, HubMatch detects the unbalance as well as the highest point of the wheel (1st harmonics), and displays it on-screen to enable mounting of wheel on vehicle so that simply matching mechanical clearances when positioning the rim on the hub will eliminate the eccentricity. HubMatch balancers solve all vibration problems on wheels combining the best balancing features to the eccentricity cancellation process.

Innovative Wheel Lifting Spindle
With the new range of truck wheel balancers that has been introduced, the innovative integrated Lifting Spindle allows the operator to work easily and safely even on large wheels. Wheels are loaded onto the spindle, which rises and lowers, when on the ground ensuring perfect centering with minimum effort while preventing the wheel from falling due to the excessive weight. Wheel loading on the lift is very easy and risk-free thanks to the lowest sliding trolley available on the market (only 59 mm).
