Description

The Atlas® WB49-2 represents the newest generation of Atlas® wheel balancer technology. This premium model features Automatic 2D Data Entry, where offset and diameter measurements are entered automatically using the inner measuring gauge. It also includes a redesigned LED display monitor and an updated chassis that provides a more functional layout and modern appearance.

Additional premium features include a Split-Weight Function for discreet placement of wheel weights behind spokes and an integrated automatic LED light to illuminate the inside of the rim during weight installation. Like the Atlas® WB41, the WB49-2 features a raised display for improved visibility and a larger, more accessible wheel weight tray.

The Atlas® WB49-2 includes self-diagnostic capabilities and displays error codes, enabling operators to perform adjustments or repairs in-house without waiting for a service technician. It accommodates a wide range of wheels, supporting rim diameters up to 32″. The unit comes standard with four cones to fit center holes from 1.75″ to 5.18″. For larger center bores and wheels with greater offset, a Light Truck Adapter Kit—consisting of a larger cone and spacer—is available separately.

The Atlas® WB49-2 can accurately balance wheel assemblies weighing up to 150 lbs. While many balancers advertise a 150 lb capacity, there is a significant difference between a shaft supporting that weight and a machine precisely balancing it.
