The Atlas OHX-10X two post commercial grade above ground lift is the perfect choice for those large commercial repair facilities or The Mr. Homeowner who demands the highest quality at the absolute best price. The Atlas OHX-10X is a TRUE 10,000 lb. capacity two post lift that offers a great value to the customer. The Atlas OHX-10X was engineered and manufactured to lift vehicles ranging from Smart Cars to a one ton diesel dually. Extra lifting height and extra width between the columns allows the operator to work on all sizes of vehicles and offers a “fudge factor” of about 6 inches when “driving through” to another part of the building or lifting the van or “ladder truck”. If you are over 6’2″, the Atlas OHX-10X has longer cylinders which allow the vehicle to be “lifted” about 3 inches higher than many other lifts.

The Atlas OHX-10X incorporates a single piece 12′ 7″ formed column and an extra long carriage that provides maximum column and arm strength to lift and support a 10,000 lb. vehicle. The single piece columns require the customer to have a ceiling of at least 13 feet to stand the column.

A solid column coupled with the longer carriage offers unparalleled structural support for all types of lifting requirements.

Automatic Arm Restraints: Automatic arm restraints are needed to keep the arm “locked” into a position relative to the carriage. When the arms are at rest in the lowest position, the arm restraint pin (which extends below the carriage) is pressed up and the lock (teeth) mechanism is disengaged.

The operator can then move the arms so that the lift pads can be properly positioned under the vehicle’s lift points. Once the carriage is raised (approximately 2 inches) the lock is reengaged and the arms cannot be moved. However, the operator may pull the knob or metal ring to manually unlock the arms. Lock restraints do not guarantee that a vehicle cannot be “moved” off of the lift pads. Operator should use care when working on vehicles that have an abundant amount of undercoating (lift pads may “slide”) or a significant weight imbalance of the vehicle may occur due to removal of an engine or transmission. Also, “HEAVY wrenching” may result in a vehicle shifting weight on the arm pads. We recommend the use of tall jack stands under the vehicle to add another layer of safety.

12 Piece Truck Adapter: This lift comes standard with a twelve piece truck adapter set. The twelve piece truck adapter set offers many more lift height combinations than standard two piece truck adapter sets.

Single Point Lock Release: This Atlas Lift has a manual single point lock release that allows the operator to release all the safety locks at one time. The spring loaded lock handle and power unit dump valve must be activated at the same time. (two hand operation) If the lock handle is released and the dump valve handle is still being pressed, the lift will continue to descend and all locks will automatically re-engage at the next lower lock point.
